Ramadan

The Ramadan Iftar Food Services provided by our organisation have been a cornerstone of our community outreach efforts for the past 14 years. Every day throughout the holy month ofRamadan, we extend a warm invitation to over 400 people to join us in breaking their fast together. This daily gathering takes place in the spacious DLCC hall, which comfortably accommodates men, women, and children.

Our services commence with the breaking of the fast, where attendees are welcomed with a nutritious and delicious meal prepared with care and consideration. Following this, congregational prayers (Salah) are offered, marking a moment of reflection and spiritual connection for all present. As the evening progresses, participants have the opportunity to engage in additional prayers, including the special Taraweeh prayers performed during Ramadan nights.

One of the unique features of our Ramadan Iftar Food Services is the inclusion of extended prayer activities, particularly on the odd nights of Ramadan. These nights hold special significance in Islamic tradition, and we ensure that our program offers ample time for participants to engage in extra prayers, reflection, and supplication during these auspicious occasions.Our goal goes beyond merely providing a meal; it's about fostering a sense of community, unity, and spiritual enrichment.

Through the daily breaking of fast together, individuals from diverse backgrounds come together in fellowship and solidarity, strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood that are central to the spirit of Ramadan.Overall, our Ramadan Iftar Food Services represent a longstanding commitment to serving our community, nourishing both body and soul, and creating a welcoming space for all to come together and experience the blessings of this sacred month.
